Dress for Running on the Sand, Before and After

Last night while I was lying wide awake at 2 in the morning I came up with the idea for this child's dress. (Isn't that when everyone thinks about running on the beach, chasing seagulls in a flowing dress?) The design is just a simple straight dress but the gathering at the neck gives it a nice shape and movement. I have to give the fabric the real credit for making this design work (and not my sleep deprived creativity.) I better get some sleep tonight or you'll be seeing more of those workplace pillows on Etsy tomorrow.

Oh! Yesterday, Zack was really tired when he was doing on his homework and he said to me, "I need one of those work pillows." I didn't understand what he meant but then I realized he was talking about the Etsy pillows! That made me really happy.
