Cleome

The flowers are from the plot next to mine at the community garden. I grew the potatoes and squash.

P.S. (2:00 pm) Note to regular readers: I know you don't really want to hear this, but I'm going to tell you anyway. The hummus delivery truck broke down and the Bobbi's Garlic Hummus won't arrive until NEXT TUESDAY(!!) even though they said, really and truly, the humus would finally come today; THURSDAY! The health food store had the nicest, most bubbly and happy clerk (Kelly, of course) call me to break the news.

That was smart.

Umm, yes. They call me with hummus delivery updates.

Don't they call you? Your phone must have been busy when they called.

P.P.S. (5:00 pm) Kelly called again! They found the hummus! It WAS delivered! Oh, sweet day.

Watch out for those cleomes, they like to take over the world. Do you know someone you want to take revenge on? Just give them a cleome seed pod.

oh, I forgot to say, I think Kelly mixed up some hummus between 2 and 5:00.

No kidding about the cleome. It is a vigorous self-seeder in New Jersey so it must be out of control in Georgia.

i love cleomes! they're my favorites! in fact, my mom just gave me a whole baggie of seeds - :) they're great where you want some color but don't want to work on the plants at all :)

i need another bag....hint hint

i submitted an alchemy request for the bag i wanted (in may) the person who won the bid should have mailed it by june 14. i haven't heard anything from her and now her etsy shop has been closed (after i paid for the bag too!) so...the last bag you made is great, but not big enough anymore (too many snacks are being toted around for cameron!) let me know if you have time
