This photo was freakishly in focus in my photo file but it lost a lot of definition in the transfer to blogger.
Baseball is over! Tomorrow (early!) we leave for Cape Cod!
Oh, and Ethan's team won the championship.
If you grow string beans, try the purple ones; they are so much easier to find when you pick them. They lose their color when cooked them so eat them raw.
Regular readers: how do we eat our raw vegetables? Let's say it together now, "Dipped in Bobbi's Garlic Hummus, of course!"
Nicely done everyone.
(Good news I don't think they have Bobbi's on the Cape, so I'll probably manage to write about something else for a while. Well maybe a little about Bobbi's.)

Bobbi's Hummus
Hi Jephrey, Thanks for sending 50 tubs of garlic hummus to my local health food store (Fountain of Vitality) last week. The prior three weeks when we didn't get any were pretty tough. People gathered outside the store in small groups, held candles, and quitely chewed raw garlic. It wasn't the same, though. We're glad you're back.
We planted 'Martha Washington' this year and love the wonderful color, especially next to our grey home. Congratulations to your son - and have a wonderful holiday down the Cape!
