Snappy title, huh? When I looked out the window Saturday morning, three baby deer were in the yard. (Out-of-focus photo taken through the back door.)
It's hard to know whether to be excited or apprehensive when you see three newborn landscape-eaters at once. The bush that's well above their heads on the right extended to the ground seven years ago. Anyday now I expect to see a deer operating a chain saw, finishing off the whole thing.

Here in Georgia we wish the deer would eat the rose of sharon as it tends to take over the entire garden.
