The Holiday Trunk Show was a dream! I bought (among other treasures) one of pip-squeak chapeau's linen towels (shown above - that's their photo - why photograph mine when they already did such a gorgeous job?) Everything on their table was as soft as a cloud - if you've been thinking of buying from them online - do so with confidence. The quality is breathtaking.

If you find yourself in Park Slope, (and surely, someday you will), don't try walking from The Bell House (where the trunk show was held) over to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. What looks like a hop skip and a jump on the map is actually a yawning chasm: a grueling uphill journey of several miles (especially if you get lost in Prospect Park which I now know is inevitable for a non-local.) And then when you get to the conservatory you won't have time to spare for your camera to come to room temperature and it will surely fog. And all the photos you'll be posting on your blog for the next week will have a lovely haze.

I thought that knowledge might save you some trouble in the future. You're welcome.
