Is anyone else fascinated by the unfurling of flower petals? When you stop to really think about it, it boggles the mind; all those tiny petals carefully organized inside the blossom. It defies comprehension. How is it possible? Moonflowers especially blow me away; that big white flat surface of the flower intially opens with immaculate accordion folds.
